Chofita's | Our Story
A bar, a truck, and a taste of home
Chofita's is a bar and eatery on Sudley Road in Manassas, Virginia, built around homestyle Mexican cooking and the kind of warmth that keeps people coming back. What started on the street now lives in a full sit-down restaurant — and the purple food truck is still right outside.
The room that feels like home
Hand-carved wooden benches with sun motifs, arched alcoves, and tile floors — the dining room feels like a familia kitchen, not a chain.
From the truck to the table
La Chofita's food truck — the purple one with the luchador sign — has been a fixture on Sudley Road and Grant Avenue long before there were booths and a bar. The truck is still out front today, serving the same food that first built the following.
The food, made with care
Tacos, flautas, sopes, tortas, molcajete — all rooted in homestyle Mexican tradition with handmade corn tortillas and freshly prepared ingredients.
Drinks worth staying for
The cucumber margarita and Jamaica agua fresca have earned their own fans, and the frozen margaritas are a regular fixture on every table.
A Manassas neighborhood staple
Owners offer samples, servers like Bori make every visit feel personal, and complimentary touches no one asked for keep guests coming back.
